Our Mission

We are dedicated to restoring the simplicity and joy of childhood by funding opportunities that help kids rediscover the magic of being young. We are committed to partnering with initiatives and programs that strive to restore what has been lost.

“It was 1994. We felt like we were living in a world that was both simple and limitless, where the days stretched on forever, and the hours after school were sacred. We’d rush home, backpacks thudding against our backs, shedding shoes and socks at the door as we ran to the kitchen to grab pizza rolls or homemade peanut butter sandwiches. Outside, the neighborhood was our playground. We’d hop on our bikes—sometimes with friends, sometimes alone—and ride until the sun dipped low, the streets becoming a patchwork of warm light and shadows, the world somehow more magical in the fading glow. CD players and Walkmans were our lifelines; handwritten notes passed between friends like treasured secrets. We didn’t know it at the time, but we were living in an era that, years later, would be remembered with a bittersweet longing—because, back then, it felt like we were on the edge of something new, and there was no rush to grow up…”

Can you remember a childhood like this? Or desiring a childhood like this? Things have taken such a turn for our own children. We have to do what we can to restore what’s been lost. While we can’t turn back time and eliminate every worry, burden, distraction, “advancement” or piece of technology, we can do some things to help. The outdoors is still within reach. Trees still have trunks and limbs and leaves to study or climb. Laughter is free; dirt and grass and sand and water are still there. Deep breaths and smiles and creating something with our hands, and doing things that are enjoyable and meaningful… these are all available.

We are driven by a deep desire to see children experience their childhood how it was meant to be lived.

Let’s do this together. Let’s restore childhood.
